Job Description

Job Title: Lead Data Governance Engineer

Location: Chennai (Remote)

Department: AECO Sales Operations

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Documenting guidelines, processes, and standards to set up, maintain, and streamline master data (i.e., accounts) and hierarchies
- Set up and maintain master data and hierarchies
- Participate in data transformation projects including MDM, data migration, and system re-engineering
- Execute the data quality lifecycle from profiling to measuring business value
- Evaluate what is needed to solve specific data problems, perform root cause analysis, and create corrective action plans
- Define how to best achieve desired outcomes
- Engage with stakeholders in a data ecosystem to ensure data governance and data quality requirements are met throughout the data product lifecycle

Your Background Is

- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Governance Engineer with a background in managing Master Data and Data Quality
- Experience with Account Master data standards, operational and analytical processes, systems, metrics, and end-to-end data flow
- Experience with MDM Account data, metadata, hierarchy, duplication and validation rules, tools, and processes
- Experience with data profiling, data quality rule setup, root cause analysis, data remediation, data monitoring, and data quality dashboards
- Knowledge of data enrichment tools (i.e., D&B, Leadspace) and processes
- Knowledge of Informatica IDQ, Address Doctor, SQL
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
