Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to spearhead and manage our sales efforts in the government and Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) verticals.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 8 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and delivering exceptional results. The Sales Leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in the government and PSU sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive business growth and expand our footprint in the government and PSU markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and tendering processes to enhance our presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, government bodies, and PSU stakeholders.
  • Navigate complex government and PSU procurement processes, including tenders, contracts, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, training, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and PSU procurement opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with a focus on government and PSU sales.
  • Proven experience managing and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of government policies, PSU procurement processes, and tendering frameworks.
  • Established relationships with government and PSU stakeholders is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
