Job Description

\

As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and running smoothly.

\

This includes managing manpower planning, shift rostering, and compliance with SOPs. You will also monitor vehicle connections, availability, and ensure timely unloading/loading of vehicles.

\

Additionally, you will plan ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profile and coordinate with fleet. Your goal will be to maintain service levels, ensure performance metrics, and facilitate communication and coordination with different teams.

\

You will drive metrics in their respective functions, including inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, and first-mile metrics. You will also mentor team members, explore process improvement opportunities, and implement industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage manpower planning & shift rostering as per load projections and productivity targets.\
  • Ensure compliance to SOPs, facility 5S, and overall upkeep of the facilities.\
  • Monitor vehicle connections, availability, and ensure timely unloading/loading of vehicles.\
  • Plan ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profile and coordinate with fleet.\
  • Maintain service levels and ensure performance metrics.\
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with different teams.\
  • Drive metrics in their respective functions.\
  • Mentor and work toward capability building of team members.\
  • Explore process improvement opportunities and drive them to closure.\
  • Implement industry best practices of shop floor management - Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma etc.\
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.\
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.\
  • Females are preferred for this role.\
  • Education requirement: BTech from Tier 1 college would be preferred.\
  • Experience: 1-3 years post graduation.\
