Key Account Manager - Business Development (4-14 Yrs) Horeca Channel Sales
We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to expand our portfolio of Horeca business relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining long-term partnerships to optimize sales and revenue generation.
About the Role:
- Cultivate, maintain, and improve the Horeca business portfolio to maximize profitability.
- Develop a positive brand image in the minds of customers, market, and business community.
- Define the scope of Horeca as On Trade Channels: Hotels, restaurants, bars, pool bars, mini bars, banquets, Fine Dining Restaurants, Quick service Restaurants-chains, local Coffee shops, Bars, Mocktail bars, Caterers, banquet halls, Bartending Companies, food & beverage consultants, stall alone bartenders etc.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic customer acquisition and retention through engagement.
- Engage with Chefs in HORECA to present products.
- Meet F&B Managers, Bar Managers, Bartenders, Baristas, and Purchase to present products.
- Organize product tasting sessions in outlets with brand manager and close sales post sessions.
- Follow up with Purchase department to introduce products and generate orders.
- Meet/exceed defined brand-wise sales targets.
- Distributor Management: Ensure distributors maintain adequate inventory, focus on range selling, create new distributors, relationship building, and commercial control.
Requirements:
- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented and driven individual.
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Experience in handling distributors is an added advantage.
