Site Supervisor - Structural Erection Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day execution of steel structures on site. The successful candidate will ensure timely, safe, and quality erection of buildings as per approved drawings and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor steel structure erection activities at the site, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings and coordinate with the design team for any discrepancies or changes.
  • Manage manpower, tools, and resources to ensure smooth and timely completion of site activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and protocols during all erection activities.
  • Coordinate with crane operators and erection team for safe lifting and assembly of structural members.
  • Maintain daily progress reports, material receipt records, and site documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and inspection agencies to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues proactively.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in steel structure erection or construction management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to relocate and stay at project sites.
