Vendor Data Management Specialist

The role of a Vendor Data Management Specialist is to create, maintain, and validate vendor master records.

This involves ensuring the accuracy and consistency of vendor data, as well as adhering to internal controls and global procurement standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Onboarding and Lifecycle Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor information.
  • SAP Master Data Transactions: This includes performing SAP transactions to ensure that vendor data is accurate and complete.
  • Data Quality Management and Cleansing: The specialist will identify and resolve data quality issues related to vendor information.
  • P2P Processes Knowledge: A strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes is essential for this role.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills in English: Effective communication skills are necessary to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with Procurement, Finance and Compliance Teams: This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration of vendor data management into business operations.

Core Competencies:

  • Vendor Onboarding and Lifecycle Management: Proficiency in managing vendor information from onboarding to offboarding.
  • SAP Master Data Transactions: Expertise in performing SAP transactions related to vendor data management.
  • Data Quality Management and Cleansing: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • P2P Processes Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of procure-to-pay processes.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills in English: Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with Procurement, Finance and Compliance Teams: Ability to collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth vendor data management.

Key Experience:

  • End-to-End Vendor Master Data Maintenance across Multiple Regions: Ability to manage vendor data across multiple regions.
  • Ensuring Compliance with SOX, GDPR and Internal Audit Standards: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Supporting Integration Projects (e.g. Mergers, System Migrations): Experience in supporting integration projects related to vendor data management.
  • Handling Duplicate Vendor Resolution and TIN Matching: Ability to resolve duplicate vendor issues and perform TIN matching.
