Job Title: Strategic Finance Partner

About the Role:

This position involves supporting and partnering with key stakeholders to drive business performance, deliver financial insights and drive commercial expertise.

  • Prioritize and manage complex business environments by analyzing data and drawing connections to advocate a coherent strategy for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple levels, conveying financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement within our organization, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

A. Performance Delivery

  1. Support AOP delivery on Volume, NSV, OP Cash and Pricing.
  2. Strengthen the finance operations process by building and driving pre and post-measurement mindset for trade spend investments.
B. Productivity

  1. Collect past c-forms, improve processes, and reduce recording timelines.
  2. Unlock savings through distributor ROI dialing.
  3. Reduce working capital / provisions unlock.
C. Net Revenue Management

  1. Manage trade spend.
  2. Drive BTL claim process and adopt new BTL process involving NRM planning.
  3. Develop pre and post-measurement culture on BTL and TTL spends.
  4. Engage with HO commercial team and cross-functional teams for personal development and growth.
  5. Optimize pricing for volume, value, margin market share pool, and benchmark industry players.
D. Business Partnering

  1. Conduct financial analysis to drive business insights and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to influence decision-making.
  2. Partner with CH/SH to drive business performance, provide financial/commercial expertise, and own financial targets and control environment.
  3. Bring strong commercial insight and judgment to decision making.
  4. Optimize investments, including AP measurement and evaluation.
  5. Support cluster/region BPMs with market financials and decision-making.
  6. Participate in pricing discussions and provide quality inputs.
E. BAU Operations

  1. Manage credit blocks, MIS circulation, and resource utilization.
  2. Improve AR ageing quality and achieve DSO target through monitoring.
  3. Review debtor estimates and forecasts based on actual debtor reports.
  4. Timely customer reconciliation and balance confirmations.
  5. Support RTM changes, annual policy changes, and sales loss prevention.
  6. Ensure timely month-end closing and sharing required MIS.
F. Compliance and Governance

  1. Ensure compliance with credit policy, BTL policy, TTL policy, SOA, and CARM controls.
  2. Risk identification and tracking with RCFH review.
  3. AML and legacy issues resolution.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • CA Inter or Qualified ICWA with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong analytical and written communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
