Regional Business Development Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a grain processing business in South Asia, aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
This role involves identifying regional opportunities for growth, partnerships, and innovation. A strategic go-to-market approach will be developed, considering industry trends, competitors, market needs, and available resources.
The position requires leading and mentoring sales managers and technical service managers, as well as cross-functional teams across the region. A high-performance work culture that fosters inclusivity and collaboration is expected to be established. Succession planning, capability building, and leadership development are essential for long-term success.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a BSc. in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering or relevant fields, with at least 5 years of experience in biofuel ethanol or grain processing. Strong background knowledge in the biofuel ethanol or grain processing industry is necessary.
Senior commercial experience with specialty chemicals or enzymes, including direct and indirect sales via various sales channels, is also required. The ability to thrive in a multicultural and remote environment, with strong proactive skills to work across functions internally and externally, is essential.
