Business Development Professional

About the Role:

  • This position is responsible for driving business growth in the Oil Additives segment within the Indian subcontinent.
  • The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering results to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging strong relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the market.
  2. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and technical service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business objectives.
  4. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the development of new ideas and solutions to address customer needs and stay ahead of competitors.
  5. Manage and analyze market research data, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales performance.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient operations and optimal resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth, with a strong understanding of the Oil Additives market and its key players.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Additonal Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess strong technical sales acumen, with a deep understanding of lubricants and their applications.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Target-oriented, with a focus on achieving results and exceeding sales targets.
  • Intercultural mix, with the ability to navigate complex cultural dynamics and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Linguistic Requirements:

  • Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
