Business Development Professional
About the Role:
- This position is responsible for driving business growth in the Oil Additives segment within the Indian subcontinent.
- The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering results to meet or exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- To identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging strong relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and technical service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the development of new ideas and solutions to address customer needs and stay ahead of competitors.
- Manage and analyze market research data, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient operations and optimal resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth, with a strong understanding of the Oil Additives market and its key players.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Additonal Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess strong technical sales acumen, with a deep understanding of lubricants and their applications.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Target-oriented, with a focus on achieving results and exceeding sales targets.
- Intercultural mix, with the ability to navigate complex cultural dynamics and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Linguistic Requirements:
- Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
