As a senior financial leader, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our organization's finance function.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled finance professional to join our team as Finance Director. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of our financial strategy, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and models that drive business growth and profitability.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead the preparation of periodic financial reports and analysis, balance sheet documentation, and ad hoc analyses
  • Ensure that financial reporting procedures are aligned with corporate standards
  • Plan, organize, and review activities of the accounting team including accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, and cash management
  • Work with corporate to grow the finance function in India to support our global operations
  • Lead the year-end audit process for the region, ensuring financial statements comply with relevant standards and practices; interact with financial auditors
  • Promote the use of common and harmonized processes and tools across the region based on best practices/strategies
  • Collaborate and align with FP&A and Global Finance to provide support for planning initiatives through financial analysis and management information, reports, and recommendations
  • Ensure all internal controls and procedures are in place and effective
  • Participate in other special projects as required for the growth of the company
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws

Certifications

  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant

Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a multi-site environment and international operations
  • Experience managing a full-cycle accounting team

Key Competencies

  • Good knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Knowledge of SAP helpful but not mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
