Government Business Development Manager

Varenyam Placements Private Limited invites applications for the position of Government Business Development Manager. As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and strengthening relationships with key government and infrastructure clients.
As a Government Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute business development strategies to achieve organizational objectives within the government and infrastructure sectors. You will lead and mentor a high-performing team to drive sales of interior building materials across assigned territories.
We are seeking an experienced professional with 12+ years of sales experience in the building materials industry. You will establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies (PWD, CPWD) and influential clients such as architects and interior designers.
The annual salary package for this role is ₹1,200,000.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing business development strategies to achieve organizational objectives within the government and infrastructure sectors.
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing team to drive sales of interior building materials across assigned territories.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies (PWD, CPWD) and influential clients such as architects and interior designers.
To succeed in this role, you should possess exceptional leadership and team management abilities, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a strong network with government bodies and professionals.
