Key Job Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include establishing strong relationships with supply chain teams and super users globally, collaborating with business users to gain a deep understanding of their business processes and requirements, designing, developing, and testing system solutions to address business requirements, monitoring and reviewing global production system support tickets, and ensuring timely resolution of these tickets.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Configure SAP WM, LE, MM modules (or other modules as needed) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.

Responsibilities Continued:

  • Provide support to end-users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and occasionally training. Advise users on ways they can improve their use of the SAP solution.
  • Maintain good relationships with Business, IT colleagues, and work with all relevant stakeholders to resolve tickets on time without breaching SLAs.
Job Requirements

This role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, MBA, or related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 12 years of total experience in the IT profession focused on SAP ERP design, implementation, and support is required. Additionally, 8+ years of experience in SAP Warehouse Management and Logistics Execution modules, with secondary expertise in Materials Management within manufacturing organizations, is necessary.

  • Deep understanding of integration with other SAP modules such as PP, SD, FI etc.
  • Expertise in other related areas such as Master data (Material Master, Control Cycles, condition records etc.), Stock Transfers, Batch management, Classification, Reporting, Queries etc.

Experience in design and implementation of handheld devices in warehouse processes such as picking, shipping, and working with business process/activity owners in understanding business requirements and solution design is also required. Strong relationship-building skills, both internally within IT and with business users, are essential for this role.
