About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientific Sales Professional to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by effectively managing a team and developing relationships with customers and channel partners.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of sales success, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science, MBA in Marketing/Sales, and 7-10 years of business experience with people management experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth through effective sales strategies and tactics
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners
- Manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
- Work closely with internal teams, including customer service and product development, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to pursue them
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets
- Meet or exceed sales targets and gross margin requirements
