Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Value Chain Promotion Strategist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in business model development, market linkages, and access to finance.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in environmental science, forestry, finance, or business, and at least 8 years of experience in natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses. The role requires strong strategic thinking, workshop facilitation skills, and the ability to develop capacity-building modules for target beneficiaries.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Formulate, implement, and modify strategies and solutions for value chain promotion.
  • Conduct and lead technical workshops with stakeholders, including market engagement sessions.
  • Identify key market players and facilitate linkages, business development pitches, and financing initiatives.
  • Develop capacity-building modules for target beneficiaries collaborating with consortium partners.
  • Draft, review, and submit all relevant reports to Team Leader.
Requirements
  • Master's in Environmental Science, Forestry, Finance, or Business.
  • English & Hindi language proficiency.
  • 8 years of professional experience in the natural resources management, agroforestry and nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in value chain promotion, marketing, business model development and establishing market linkages including providing access to finance with a focus on agro/agroforestry/ayurvedic products; 4 years of the total experience in projects in India
