Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced professional to join our organization as a Senior DevOps Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and experience with cloud-based platforms.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the current infrastructure and determining the requirements for implementing DevOps practices, as well as collaborating with internal and external teams to better understand Enterprise Architecture and Security standards.
• The role involves installing, configuring, and managing DevOps tools on our servers, leveraging Automation and Configuration Management tools to set up and configure required infrastructure.
• The Senior DevOps Specialist will also integrate DevOps tools with existing systems and services used by the corporation, configure and manage security settings and access controls for DevOps, and implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• This is a critical role that requires someone who can provide training and support to team members and engineers on using DevOps effectively, assist with the development of training materials, and monitor and troubleshoot any issues with DevOps infrastructure.
• The Senior DevOps Specialist will work closely with development teams to ensure successful adoption of DevOps, develop and maintain documentation for DevOps setup and usage within the enterprise, and recommend best practices around containerization and orchestration.
• The role also involves implementing scripts and routines to automate mundane and error-prone tasks, provisioning and orchestrating container workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, and managing Windows and Linux instances as required.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security features such as DAST and API Fuzzing, and experience with creating security and compliance policies on DevOps that reflect departmental policies.
• This is a hands-on role that requires someone who can perform migration of all data from our previous DevOps instance to the new one, implement deployment pipelines with incremental delivery capabilities, install and enable advanced search capabilities on DevOps, and set up monitoring and alerting for our DevOps platform.
• The Senior DevOps Specialist will also perform security hardening of our DevOps instance based on best practices, configure data retention policies for DevOps, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding OS and DevOps instance patching, and contribute to deployment operations.
• The role involves setting up encryption of databases and other software artefacts, creating webhooks which perform administrative tasks on the platform, and setting up the required DevOps Runner infrastructure and ensuring that automated scaling is in place.
• We are looking for someone who can contribute and participate in all DevOps initiatives within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
