Senior Data Development Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished data development specialist to take on the key challenge of developing and maintaining high-performance data pipelines, collaborating with analytics and business teams, and implementing best practices to monitor data quality.

  • Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines to support ongoing increases in data volume and complexity.
  • Collaborates with analytics and business teams to enhance data models that feed business intelligence tools.
  • Implements processes and systems to ensure production data is accurate and available for stakeholders.
  • Writes unit/integration tests, contributes to technical documentation, and documents work.
  • Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in issue resolution.
  • Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
  • Defines company data assets (data models), spark, sparkSQL, and hiveSQL jobs to populate data models.
  • Designs data integrations and data quality frameworks.

Key Skills: Big Data, PySpark, Python, Hadoop/HDFS, Spark, GCP/Cloud.
