Our ideal candidate is an experienced proposal writer with a strong background in US government RFPs. They possess excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Review and respond to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
- Write and edit proposal content that is clear, concise, and compliant.
- Collaborate with capture managers, business development, and technical experts to gather inputs.
- Create and maintain compliance matrices and ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
- Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission.
- Maintain a library of past performance, resumes, and reusable proposal content.
- 3+ years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
- Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- APMP certification or Shipley methodology training.
- Experience supporting proposals across multiple industries.
