ERP Transition Specialist

The ERP transition specialist will lead and support activities focused on Sales & Distribution during organizational transitions such as company separations, mergers, or acquisitions. The role demands expertise in enterprise resource planning systems and hands-on experience in project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transition Planning & Execution
    • Design and implement processes for divestiture scenarios including customer/supplier master segregation, order closure, and data handover.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope and ensure compliance with business requirements.
  • Sales & Distribution Expertise
    • Configure and support modules such as:
    • Sales Order Management (O2C)
    • Purchase Order Processing (P2P)
    • Inventory Management
    • Advanced Pricing and Preferences
    • Handle intercompany transactions, returns, and transfer orders.
  • Integration & Data Migration
    • Lead data migration efforts for customer/supplier records and transactional history.
    • Ensure seamless integration with finance modules and third-party systems.
  • Documentation & Testing
    • Prepare process documents, functional specs, test scenarios, and training materials.
    • Conduct testing, quality assurance, and post-go-live support.
  • Compliance & Reporting
    • Implement controls and audit readiness.
    • Support EDI inbound/outbound processes.
