Business Development Manager">

We are seeking a highly ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to play a crucial part in the development of our business.

This role will work closely with stakeholders, including the Business Manager, Technical Direction, and Account Manager, to manage the end-to-end bid process from qualification to contract award. Key responsibilities include developing value propositions, managing solutions, considering commercial factors, identifying partners, analyzing competitive landscapes, and mitigating risks.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective bid strategies;
  • Ensure offers and project references are prepared for bid submission;
  • Anticipate next major RFI/RFPs and associated risks;
  • Support coordination efforts, define action plans, and ensure timely execution;
  • Support new business strategy and development;
  • Prepare documents required for bids;
  • Bid Management;
  • Support business managers and technical direction in utilizing CRM tools during the bid process;
  • Qualify businesses and strategies to answer;
  • Organize and attend Go/NoGo Bid/NoBid meetings;
  • Maximize the value of ALTEN's offer;
  • Coordinate bid teams (technical, business, legal, quality, center of expertise, partners);
  • Check offer quality and financial form prior to review;
  • Store information on CRM tools;
  • Organize and attend offer reviews;
  • Analyze lessons learned from each CFT;
  • Alert BU/Management/TD as required;
  • Transversal activities / Capitalization;
  • Issue KPIs from CRM tools and check data accuracy;
  • Report to Management, BU, TD, and Pre-Sales Head with adapted frequency and format;
  • Monitor adherence to the bid process and alert if not respected;
  • Analyze bid process maturity by Business Unit and define action plans;
  • Perform analysis for main reasons for win/lose each semester;
  • Capitalize best practices, offers, and templates to maximize win rate and reuse;
  • Explain and enforce BID process, method, and tools;
