Culinary Team Leader

Key Responsibilities
As a Culinary Team Leader at AccorHotel, you will be responsible for overseeing the food production process, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to the recipe and to the correct quantity. You will also be responsible for maintaining par stock levels, planning and coordinating the activities of the team, and ensuring that the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy.
People Management
You will be responsible for managing the team to ensure the proper use of equipment and efficient completion of all tasks. You will also be responsible for monitoring grooming and personal hygiene of the team, ensuring that the standards are maintained, and ensuring that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.
Financial Management
You will be responsible for analyzing food costs and determining the most cost-effective recipes while ensuring that standards are maintained. You will also be responsible for identifying optimal cost-effective use of resources and educating the team on the same.
Operational Management
You will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to the recipe and to the correct quantity, and that the section is being kept clean and tidy at all times. You will also be responsible for closely communicating with Restaurant Manager & Assistant Manager on special functions, booking menu item availability, service problems, guest comments, and guest preferences.

Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum Primary school education
- Additional certification(s) from a reputable Culinary school will be an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
