Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Leader to oversee the preparation and presentation of food in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

This role is responsible for directing, coaching, supporting, supervising, and evaluating team members, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and presented in a visually appealing manner. The successful candidate will be able to read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes by maintaining quality and consistency in taste according to instructions provided by senior management.

The Culinary Leader must be proficient in completing tasks efficiently and productively, able to work in any section of the kitchen, and coordinate and supervise team members assigned to their section. They will also be responsible for undertaking daily recipe reviews, maintaining recipe folders in immaculate condition, and controlling production levels while recommending ideas for improvements and better cost control.

Additionally, the Culinary Leader will be responsible for preparing daily electronic food requisitions, counterchecking deliveries for accuracy, and reporting any discrepancies to senior management. They will also oversee main sections such as Sauce, Entremetier, Fish, Roast, Outlet CDP, Tournant, and Cold Kitchen, ensuring that Public Health standards are followed according to company guidelines.

Maintaining accurate records and reports is also an essential part of this role, including timesheets and financial data. The Culinary Leader will analyze operational problems, establish controls, and make recommendations regarding personnel actions such as new hire requests and discharges.
