Job Title: Asset Reliability Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Reliability specialist to drive equipment reliability and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineer-level support on condition monitoring of rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support on condition monitoring of rotating equipment using various techniques such as vibration, oil analysis, thermography, and videoscopy.
  • Analyse data from online and offline sources to identify maintenance needs and prevent major breakdowns of equipment.
  • Develop and implement reliability improvement plans and initiatives based on condition monitoring parameters.
  • Monitor and track the condition of rotating equipment to ensure it is healthy and compliant with associated standards and procedures.
  • Carry out detailed analysis of condition-based data and monitor and analyse condition monitoring parameters to identify inherent conditions leading to rotating equipment failure.
  • Prepare corrective actions and recommendations on observed faults and defects.
  • Aim to prevent failure of rotating equipment using all possible condition monitoring data and analytical tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Accredited vibration analysis training (Cat I) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring data systems such as CSI, Emerson, SKF, and GE System1 Smart Signal.
  • Basic knowledge of machine condition monitoring, balancing, alignment, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance techniques and types.
  • Familiarity with various vibration standards.
  • Basic understanding of rotor dynamics, mechanical design, equipment function, and construction.
  • Formal training in condition monitoring subjects and techniques from vendors, consultants, or reputed technical training institutes.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certification in condition monitoring techniques.
  • Experience in a power, refinery, petrochemical industry with at least 2-3 years of condition monitoring experience.
  • Skills in O&G Downstream, Upstream, Midstream, AR_VR_MR, etc.
