Job Title: Asset Finance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced asset finance professional with expertise in the UK market, focusing on leasing, hire purchase, and stage payment loans.

This role is ideal for individuals who have worked extensively with vehicle and equipment financing, possessing a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes in the asset finance lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for UK asset finance, supporting consulting engagements across originations, billing, collections, and settlements.
  • Provide process assurance and collaborate with testing teams to translate functional requirements into IT test scenarios.
  • Lead and support user acceptance testing/system integration testing phases, ensuring alignment with business expectations and terminology.
  • Review and validate test scenarios in collaboration with business SMEs.
  • Support data migration, documentation workstreams, and reporting activities including general ledger concepts.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
  • Leverage tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and other requirements/test management platforms.
  • Provide insights into asset finance workflows, including point-of-sale, rescheduling, novation, asset handling, stock audits, inspections, and recoveries.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-14+ years of experience in asset finance, preferably in the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle and equipment financing (excluding capital assets).
