Finance Business Partner

Job Description:

The primary function of this role is to specialize in financial and operational KPIs through the use of in-depth analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will provide meaningful insights to key business leaders, enabling them to make informed decisions that drive business growth.

This position requires a strong partnership with global finance teams, operations, and high-level management to steer the business and monitor progress. The analyst must possess excellent written, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to innovateately communicate complex information.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 plus years of relevant experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. A bachelor's degree in Commerce or an MBA in Finance is also required. Knowledge of Randstad operations and systems is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and manage data analytics on operational metrics
  2. Build and maintain analytical models on key operating measures
  3. Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long-term financial and strategic plan
  4. Collaborate with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
  5. Produce models to project long-term growth and determine impacting business factors
  6. Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  7. Utilize existing tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
  8. Communicate to senior management the reasons behind product/department performance and results
  9. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results
  10. Review operations and recommend new productivity or cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or an MBA in Finance
  • Minimum of 10 plus years of relevant experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced excel skills)
  • Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence management
  • Ability to make improvements to keep pace with a fast-moving environment
