Job Overview

The Customer Experience Innovation Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives to prevent returns and enhance the customer experience at Amazon. As a key member of the Return Reduction team within the CX-Business unit, this individual will collaborate extensively with product, technology, and science teams across multiple VP organizations to define and develop policies, business models, and technology-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously identify drivers for returns and eliminate root causes to prevent negative customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and create innovative and delightful customer experiences.
  • Lead high-impact projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders, defining and driving large cross-functional programs.
  • Craft executive responses on highly debated topics related to customer issues and anecdotes by collaborating with subject matter experts from various VP organizations.

About the Team

The RBS Return Reduction team is an integral part of Amazon's online product lifecycle and buying operations. The primary responsibility of this team is to reduce returns that result in negative consumer experiences, including identifying causes of returns and collaborating with appropriate teams to eliminate defects.

Requirements

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Full-time MBA or equivalent, with over 15+ years of experience, including a minimum of 5+ years in managing projects that require interacting with customers/stakeholders.
  • Technical background preferred (B.Tech/B.E.).
  • Hands-on experience in Retail, eCommerce, and supply chain functions, with a proven history of delivering results while owning complex cross-functional launches partnering with central teams.
