Job Title: Revenue Cycle Management DirectorOverviewThe Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing RCM strategies, ensuring efficient billing and collections processes, and leading a team of billing specialists.
Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Successfully lead and manage a team of billing and revenue cycle specialists to execute efficient billing, collections, and claims processing strategies.
- Revenue Cycle Strategy Development: Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies to ensure accurate billing, prompt collections, and effective denial management.
- Talent Development and Performance Oversight: Supervise, assess, and develop team members, ensuring high performance through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Billing Operations Oversight: Oversee the performance of billing operations with respect to quality, compliance, cost, timelines, and performance metrics.
- KPI Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and manage revenue cycle KPIs, including but not limited to Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), denial rates, claim acceptance rates, and collection goals.
- Metrics and Reporting Tools: Develop and implement metrics and reporting tools to improve decision-making, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Communication: Clearly communicates reports and outcome metrics to Arohana clients on a consistent schedule and responds promptly to any follow-up questions or concerns from customers.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer-specific billing requirements and regulations.
- Revenue Trend Analysis and Recommendations: Analyze revenue trends, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve overall revenue cycle performance.
- Process Improvement and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing issues and streamline processes for increased efficiency.
- Workflow Refining: Develop and refine workflows, policies, and procedures to optimize the revenue cycle process.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams of billing professionals.
- Revenue Cycle Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle management, including billing, coding, collections, and insurance processes.
- Effective Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Highly effective verbal/presentation and written communication skills in English, along with a proven ability to solve complex problems efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of Medical Billing Software and EMR Systems: Strong knowledge of medical billing software, electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and clearinghouses.
- Familiarity with US Healthcare Regulations: Familiarity with US healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and HIPAA compliance.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work US time zones when needed and able to work with team members across varying levels of responsibility.
- Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
$110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
