Transaction Monitoring Lead

We are seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead our Transaction Monitoring program.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on technical solutions.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to contribute their skills and expertise to drive the success of our team.

  • Postgraduate degree in Management, Statistics, or Mathematics from a reputable institution.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in Transaction Monitoring with at least 5 years focused on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience as a Transaction Monitoring Lead to manage tools to mitigate financial crime risk is essential.
  • Strong project management skills and presentation skills are also required.
  • Certification from the ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent is preferred.

Key Technical Competencies:

  • Statistical Modelling/Machine Learning/Data Analysis
  • SQL/HQL/Hive/Hadoop scripting and databases such as Oracle and HaaS
  • R/Python/SAS/STATA/C++/SCALA Programming
  • Expertise in creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau
  • Experience in integrating TM systems with core banking platforms and data warehouses with familiarity of cloud platforms for scalable TM solutions.
  • Knowledge of compliance advisory and surveillance principles.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our Transaction Monitoring strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans to address these gaps.
