The job role is for a senior director of operations who will be responsible for managing backend operations in India. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in the US healthcare industry, preferably in revenue cycle management and at least 4 years as a strategic leader leading overall business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to teams and day-to-day leadership to direct reports within the span of control
  • Coach teams to identify inquiries beyond their scope of authority and take appropriate actions
  • Foster a positive work environment and develop productive working relationships with direct reports
  • IDentify, strategize & approve process changes to improve customer experience
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of client needs by promoting a positive, professional image of R1 RCM
  • Participate in special projects as directed by executive leadership
  • Manage day-to-day operations by applying contractual provisions and following quality & compliance guidelines
  • Keep close watch on loaded labor rate (LLR)
  • Client relationship management and delivery of client expectations outlined in the scope of work
  • Ensure achievement of SLAs across the business unit with no revenue shrinkage

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's/master's degree equivalent
  • Overall 15 + years of total work experience
  • Last 10 years (min) in the US healthcare industry, preferably in revenue cycle management and 4+ years as a strategic leader leading overall business operations
  • Possess experience in working across global delivery models
  • Demonstrated strong bias for action, ability to drive decision velocity, fill gaps and seek additional resources internally or through partners to quickly knock down barriers and execute
  • Effective communicator, ability to communicate complex concepts in clear and concise language, adapting to a variety of audiences
  • Superior relationship management skills: ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers, as well as effectively operate within a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with leaders within the firm to develop and execute plans
  • Ability to think creatively and work through a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to mentor, coach and provide appropriate guidance/direction/feedback to the team
