Transforming payments in India is the ambition of Amazon's payment business. As a Data Driven Business Strategist, you will play a crucial role in driving this transformation by providing data and insights to partner verticals.

About the Role

This senior role requires teamwork, building a business perspective, and interacting extensively with other members within the team, across business lines. You will work in partnership with Machine Learning and Central Customer Analytic teams, and there will be a steep learning curve as you add a fair amount of business skills to your profile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ability to do exploratory analysis: Fetch data from systems and analyze trends.
  • Identify consumer segments that need to be actioned to drive adoption of Amazon Pay.
  • Developing India specific customer segmentation models to improve the efficiency of marketing and financing product roadmap inputs.
  • Establishing mechanisms for cross functional teams to consume customer insights to improve engagement along the customer life cycle.
  • Work with cross functional teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience with Advanced SQL, advanced Excel, and Data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong acumen and relevant experience in hypothesis testing and exploratory data analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2C business across marketing analytics, consumer research, and consumer loyalty functions.
