About the Role

Expedia Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Business Performance Analytics to lead our data-driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished leader with a strong background in managing quantitative analytics projects and teams. They will possess exceptional data mining and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving business value through data insights.

We are looking for someone who can foster a high-performing team and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders to achieve shared success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage highly quantitative analytics projects, applying statistical techniques and machine learning methods to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance on data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that drive performance improvement.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations effectively.

Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration).
  • 8+ years of experience in managing quantitative analytics projects and teams.
  • Exceptional data mining and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving business value.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL, Hadoop/Hive, R, Python, and Tableau.
