Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our depot resources, including optimizing space and operations. This involves ensuring smooth coordination of train handovers, movements, and scheduling within the depot.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing 24-Hour Depot Operations: Oversee the efficient management of depot resources to ensure seamless coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate Train Movements: Ensure that train handovers, movements, and scheduling are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintenance Planning & Defect Management: Provide real-time support and management for operational defects and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Reporting and Customer Communication: Submit timely reports and maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Strategic Project Management: Lead projects that align with business objectives, optimizing fleet management and performance.
Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience or understanding of maintenance planning within a rail environment
  • Knowledge of metro train systems and basic troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with IT tools such as SAP, MS Project, and Maximo
  • Certification in Project Management or related fields (preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility with working hours to ensure 24-hour coverage
