Operations Management Role

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead our team in achieving optimal productivity through effective manpower planning and shift rostering.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong operations management expertise to join our organization and drive business results.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operations management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and develop team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manpower planning and shift rostering processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), facility maintenance, and upkeep of facilities.
  • Monitor vehicle connections, availability, and timely unloading/loading of vehicles.
  • Plan ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profiles and coordinate with the fleet department.
  • Maintain service levels and ensure performance metrics are met.
  • Foster collaboration and coordination among various teams, including commercial, security, fleet, and last mile.
  • Drive metrics in their respective functions, including inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, and first mile metrics.
  • Oversee HR/Employee-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as diversity hiring, employee morale, and employee safety.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of team members.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Implement industry best practices in shop floor management, including Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a Tier 1 college.
  • 1-3 years of post-graduation experience in operations management.
