Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software development specialist to fill this key role. As a vital member of the development team, you will be responsible for implementing elegant interfaces for controlling a complex product, working closely with the Product team to define what's possible now and later, and collaborating with the team to define reusable patterns and best practices.

  • Tackle the user's perspective and design intuitive interfaces for a cutting-edge product.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer needs.
  • Develop well-documented, efficient code in Ruby and React, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of new technologies and emerging tools and frameworks, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess strong proficiency in Rails, React, CSS, and Material UI.
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver solutions with the end-user in mind, prioritizing usability and correctness.
  • Exhibit excellent collaboration skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Showcase effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate a curiosity-driven approach, with a passion for exploring new technologies and techniques.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Possess 7+ years' work experience with client-side technologies and API design and interaction, including hands-on experience with Rails and a proven track record with React.
