  • Prepare and provide reports to senior management as required, delegating tasks to team members and ensuring timely completion.
  • Supervise detailed financial analysis of statutory accounts, management information, short-term cash flow forecasts, and longer-term integrated forecast models, identifying key trends and performance drivers.
  • Assume responsibility for stakeholder management, client relations, and liaise with clients, employees, agents, and solicitors as necessary.
  • Ensure all timescales are met and dealt with accordingly.
  • With the assistance of clients and historic financial information, create forecasts in Microsoft Excel and other financial forecast programs.
  • Provide guidance, motivation, mentoring, and assistance to the team, assisting their training and progression within the organization, undertaking appraisals, and other actions as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders for new work, liaising with other offices and service lines as appropriate.
  • Review Information Memorandums and liaise with potential purchasers in accelerated M&A transactions.
  • Lead and contribute to business development and operational efficiency initiatives;
  • Promote the organization by developing, hosting, and attending marketing events and seminars, and presentations by other professionals and clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience assuming direct responsibility for advisory cases from initial client meeting through to final review stage.
  • Desire to build and maintain relationships and succeed in the market.
  • Previous experience in quality control, managing recoveries, billings, career development, and resource management.
  • The successful candidate will be risk-tolerant, driven, a team player, and influential in motivating team members.
  • Strong business development skills and personal network are essential for the successful candidate to assist in producing tender documents, undertaking sector analysis, and supporting marketing initiatives.
  • A strong academic background, including relevant accounting qualifications, is preferred. Insolvency qualifications and experience would also be beneficial.
