**Job Description:**

The role of the Relationship Manager is to drive the strategy and execution of SME businesses in a designated region.

  • Develops and implements strategic plans in line with division objectives, ensuring high performance standards and continuous improvement.
  • Supports workforce planning by providing inputs on departmental forecasts and ensures effective implementation of work processes.
  • Manages operating frameworks, provides guidance and support to ensure quality standards are met, and monitors fraud control policies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Strategic/ Managerial Responsibilities:**

  • Articulates region-specific strategies for product growth and liaisoning with Product Development Teams.
  • Drives strategy and execution of SME businesses in the region as per targets, achieving target set in yearly budget for new and existing clients.

**Core Responsibilities:**

  • Prepares Business development plans in line with bank strategy for SME clients.
  • Reviews and coordinates prescribed quality principles and processes, sponsoring initiatives to meet quality standards.

**People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities:**

  • Ensures effective performance management process, develops talent within the department by providing ongoing feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles, providing mentoring for high potential talent, monitoring achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports.

**Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities:**

  • Governs risk-related policies and processes, reviewing internal control systems to take corrective action based on audit findings.
