About a Key Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Travel and Events function in the Asia Pacific region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned executive to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional results.

  • Establish best-in-class standards across the Asia Pacific region, working closely with the Global Head of Travel and Events.
  • Analyze travel services data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and manage a regional travel management structure and program, leveraging synergies across countries.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Travel and Events to implement global standards and processes for Business Travel.
  • Oversee and govern ASP travel and events footprint, including executive reporting and analysis.
  • Provide strategic direction to local travel managers and guidance to customer groups, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance to Group travel policy, monitor industry trends, and recommend changes to local policies and programs as needed.
  • Lead the air vertical for the global travel program, managing airline partnerships.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the travel industry or managing travel programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in managing travel budgets and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic matrixed environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in implementing travel-related supplier programs.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with strong networking abilities at senior levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with commercial expertise.
  • Proficiency in travel management systems and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
