The role of a Human Resources Strategic Leader is to drive the HR function for Quality & Operations functions at the Indore Manufacturing site. As a strategic partner, they will provide guidance on human resources strategy and policy in support of business objectives.
This position involves managing harmonious industrial relations and ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements across the site. The incumbent will be responsible for executing employee lifecycle processes, manpower planning, talent acquisition, administrative activities, corporate strategy, and projects spanning across Talent Management and development, Learning and Development for employees based at the site.
- Strategic HR Partner – Planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource programs and practices. Partnering with business to understand business needs and align people strategy to the same.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding – Responsible for Talent Acquisition by providing a talented workforce within TAT to ensure business continuity. Identifying manpower requirement based on business priorities and planning budget, hiring in accordance. Ensuring best-in-class onboarding experience to new joiners.
- HR Manpower Planning, Budgeting – Assisting in the budgeting process of all HR items (Manpower costs, Opex Costs) and headcount requirement. Periodically reviewing and monitoring actual spend vis-à-vis approved budgets, optimum utilization of manpower budgets, and trend analysis to ensure manpower cost is within budget. Identifying opportunities for savings and realizing periodic savings.
- Performance Management – Driving continual performance management and Annual Compensation Review for the site. Training line managers on goal setting and sharing performance feedback. Enabling business leaders to take appropriate decisions regarding promotions, compensation revisions, etc.
- Talent Management – Implementing Periodic Talent Management reviews and ensuring development/retention plans are executed. Creating and implementing succession plans for critical roles. Understanding talent priorities of the site, identifying development needs, and driving programs to address the same.
- Learning & Development – Promoting a culture of learning and high performance. Identifying training needs, preparing a training calendar, and evaluating training efficacy. Working with the corporate HR team of the business unit to implement various training programs for the site.
- HR Compliance & Statutory Obligations - Ensuring HR legal compliances by monitoring and implementing applicable statutory laws, maintaining records, and representing the organization at various associations related to Human Resources. Liaising with various statutory bodies and government agencies like Labour office, Factory Inspector Office, Gram Panchayat, welfare Fund Office, and PF to ensure compliance. Adhering to SOPs and documentation as per cGMP.
- Labour Management – Maintaining a harmonious and productive IR environment. Keeping track of productivity and identifying scope for cost savings. Ensuring all statutory compliances are followed by manpower vendors. Maintaining a healthy and productive work environment, identifying and resolving employee grievances in a timely manner. Taking appropriate disciplinary actions if needed as per laid-down processes.
- Employee Engagement & Wellbeing – Implementing initiatives and carrying out activities on a day-to-day basis to impact key drivers of employee engagement. Leading wellbeing initiatives at the site with an objective to achieve holistic wellbeing of employees at the site.
- HR Operations – Supervising and reviewing all HR operations pertaining to employee life cycle with an objective of streamlining and bringing in more efficiency.
- Guiding and coaching HR team members to take higher responsibility, effective stakeholder management, and develop next-line leaders.
- Special projects – Supporting conceptualizing and execution of special HR-related projects to meet specific business needs from time to time.
