As a skilled payroll professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee pay. This role involves managing payroll data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing support for payroll-related inquiries.
This is a key position within our organization, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Data Management: Collect and validate payroll inputs, manage payroll data, and maintain accurate records.
- Vendor Management: Manage payroll and compliance vendors, handle full and final settlements, taxation validation, TDS return preparation, and submission.
- Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements, such as PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Labor Welfare fund.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions for finance purposes.
- Employee Support: Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in payroll processing, administration, and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
