Business Development Manager Role

The key objective of this position is to drive sales growth and market expansion within the building materials industry.

This entails possessing a deep understanding of the building materials market, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the building materials sector.
  • B uild and maintain robust relationships with architects, builders, contractors, consultants, and channel partners.
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic territory planning and client acquisition.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct client presentations, product demos, and site visits as required.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of business with clients and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales/business development within the building materials or construction-related industry.
  • A strong network of industry contacts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
