Collection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our collections team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all collection and dispute resolution activities in accounts receivable and related settlement processes.


Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting invoices and managing all related processes, including dispute identification and resolution, account reconciliation, credit balance disposition, and unclaimed property administration.
  • Effectively communicating and supporting the collection goals, while providing quality customer service as well as actively pursuing knowledge of skills and tools to be used in all collection efforts.
  • Following up with various departments to obtain supporting documents/info for dispute/deductions resolution.
  • Ability to balance, trouble shoot, and resolve recurring or occasional bottlenecks.
  • Communicating effectively with clients to resolve disputes in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Preferred Skill Set
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize new software systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills including MS Excel.
  • Conceptual knowledge and experience in tax activities is preferred.
