IT Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the procurement function, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, preferably in the IT sector, and excellent analytical and communication skills. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of procurement services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement requests from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure effective procurement services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Implement procurement strategies and tactics to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Proven track record of success in procurement, including contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
