ServiceNow Developer Position

The position of ServiceNow IRM Engineer is a pivotal role within our organization, playing a key part in a dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and optimal solutions across the Compliance & Risk domains with hands-on configuring in the Service Now platform as well as cutting-edge technology to offer the best solution to support business needs.

  • Deliver development projects on time and may be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Create technical/implementation design documentation.
  • Provide estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases.
  • Undertake regular implementation and code reviews to ensure alignment with development, implementation, and performance standards, providing coaching and mentoring on design and coding techniques to engineers in scrum teams.
  • Assist with updates to program specification/implementation documentation.
  • Work with scrum teams to prepare configurations for production.
  • Be involved in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing - review test scripts; align with wider testing strategy.
  • Elevate issues, provide feedback, and propose changes to implementation specifications.
  • Offer consultation to product owners with recommendations to drive their requirements to success.
  • Contribute input into technical roadmap and architectural direction based on product roadmaps. This can include supporting product evaluations through tooling recommendations based on gaps/needs, as well as helping to identify 3rd party technical and security strengths/gaps as period assessments of tooling as business/climate needs evolve and products offered change.

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations, workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, Integrations and CMDB.
  • Experience using applicable programming methodologies: JavaScript, API (Restful), XML, Java, Jelly scripting, Angular JS.
  • Working knowledge of GCP.
  • 4-8+ years of development experience.
  • 2-6+ years hands-on experience in ServiceNow including Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions/components in ServiceNow Suite (full-cycle implementation).
  • Hold ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credentials.
