About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our organization as a Sales Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving qualified leads and new business opportunities through the development and implementation of effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing Sales Development team.
- Set Clear Performance Expectations: Establish clear KPIs and activity metrics for the team.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement strategies to drive qualified leads and new business opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns.
- Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to ensure smooth lead handoff.
- Oversee outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Monitor and improve lead qualification processes.
- Analyze sales funnel metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure effective use of CRM (Salesforce or equivalent) to track activities and pipeline health.
- Implement sales automation tools and best practices for efficiency.
- Provide data-driven reports to senior leadership on sales development performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs.
- Train the SDR team on product positioning, value propositions, and objection handling.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. They will also possess a proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
