Amazon Business Development Manager

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to address a vast new market segment and customer base. Our business customers have different needs than traditional Amazon customers, requiring us to reinvent everything from product display to pricing and customer experience.
As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting Sellers and managing their relationships by championing their needs at Amazon
- Managing and driving the growth of Sellers' businesses by adding selection and delivering on key business opportunities
- Managing key improvement initiatives and projects: Drive new product launches and relationship extensions by partnering with the business development and on-boarding teams
- Working with Sellers to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience
- Identifying specific prospects/partners to approach, communicating the value proposition for their business, and establishing long-term, successful partnerships
- Tracking and reporting performance using appropriate metrics, achieving productivity and seller satisfaction targets
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor degree (preferably in Computer Science or 2+ years of relevant working experience)
- German Certification: B2.2 and above level. Excellent communication skills in written and oral German
- Excellent communication skills in written and oral English with the ability to face external and internal partners in a professional and mature manner
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel) applications
- Interest in e-Commerce/Online business
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and passion for delivering great customer experience
- Attention to detail and high capability to work on different projects in parallel
- Creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for operational excellence
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
