We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our engineering workforce.

This role involves strategic planning, team management, and project execution to deliver business objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving innovation and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities include overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery; establishing priorities and allocating resources; ensuring the adoption of best practices and quality standards; collaborating with cross-functional teams; implementing quality assurance processes; staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies; and identifying and mitigating risks.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years in people management. They must have the right combination of technology experience and people management skills, as well as excellent communication skills.

A strong background in cloud native and MERN stack technologies is essential, with experience in leading development projects using agile methodologies. Commerce domain experience is also beneficial.

The Director of Engineering will report to the Vice President of Engineering and be responsible for facilitating effective communication and coordination across cross-functional teams. They will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on performance and progress.

Our technologies include Javascript, Node.js, React, Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes.
