Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience, including 7+ years of leadership/management experience overseeing teams of 50+ designers.
  • A background in the agency world or running large-scale teams for startups and organizations in-house, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to co-found or lead innovative ventures.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in applying user-centered design processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving product design, service design, and user research excellence.
  • A portfolio showcasing outstanding work performed by teams led and directed by you, demonstrating mastery in these areas.
  • References from clients, teams, and peers highlighting your achievements and leadership style.
  • Proven experience building connections regionally and globally as a respected leader in the design community, with highly proactive communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with C-suite clients, work on developing and launching new growth areas, and apply design to areas such as culture change and strategy.
