About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical IT Service Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our desired maturity in IT Service Management.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the design and development of our tools, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet our needs, and supporting the continual improvement of our processes.

Your primary goal will be to ensure quality service delivery that meets departmental standards and guidelines.

As a Technical IT Service Management Professional, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the technical design and implementation of functionalities, features, and integrations with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding business processes and functions to determine and propose needed solutions for projects.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Analyzing and creating process and project-related documentation.
  • Providing technical support, maintenance, and reports related to our tools.
  • Reporting and escalating to management as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Hands-on experience working on Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
  • A good understanding of IT Service Management principles.
  • Knowledge of Java and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), collaboration, and documentation skills.
