Exponent Energy is a pioneering company in the field of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. Our mission is to simplify energy for EVs, and we're driven by a passionate team of over 200 experienced professionals.

We're looking for a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the commercial vehicles sector, last mile logistics, and energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at target companies, understanding their needs and challenges related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels like cold calling, networking, lead scoring, and market research.
  • Solution Selling: Effectively present Exponent's energy tech solutions, highlighting their value proposition and demonstrating how they address the specific needs of each customer.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals: Skillfully negotiate contract terms and pricing, overcoming objections, and closing deals to achieve quota targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A relevant degree in engineering, business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the commercial vehicles sector, last mile logistics, or energy sector.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be ₹30-₹50 lakhs per annum, depending on experience.
