Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Training Development Specialist to spearhead organizational learning initiatives, create impactful training programs, and cultivate a culture of continuous growth and development. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that empower employees at all levels.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Learning Strategy & Needs Analysis
- Conduct thorough assessments of training needs across the organization through surveys, focus groups, and consultations with managers
- Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and individual growth opportunities
2. Training Program Design & Implementation
- Design and deliver innovative learning programs (onsite, virtual, or blended) for technical, functional, and soft skills
- Drive onboarding training for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with company values
- Develop leadership programs to upskill managers and team leads for effective performance management
3. Content Development
- Develop training materials, resources, and modules (workshops, presentations, e-learning, videos)
- Leverage industry-best tools and practices for engaging content delivery
4. Performance & Skill Assessment
- Track progress and effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, KPIs, and data analysis
- Provide actionable reports and insights to leadership for continuous improvement
5. Learning Tools & Platforms
- Implement and manage learning management systems (LMS) or tools to streamline employee development initiatives
- Stay updated with trends in L&D, tools, and technology to integrate innovative learning solutions
6. Employee Engagement & Development Culture
- Promote a learning culture by organizing knowledge-sharing sessions, mentorship programs, and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with department heads to align team-level training goals with business outcomes
7. Team Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal trainers, subject-matter experts, and external learning partners
- Ensure seamless execution of L&D initiatives, from planning to implementation
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field; MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus
- 5–8 years of experience in Learning & Development roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS startup or technology-driven company
- Proven track record of developing, managing, and implementing L&D programs
- Strong knowledge of learning methodologies, instructional design principles, and LMS platforms
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills to measure training effectiveness
- Proficiency in tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and content creation platforms (e.g., Articulate, Canva, or similar tools)
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
