Job Overview:

We seek a seasoned professional to spearhead our higher education initiatives, drive strategic partnerships and thought leadership, and ensure seamless execution of projects.

  • This role demands exceptional organizational skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the higher education landscape.
Key Responsibilities:Thought Leadership and Policy Advocacy:
  • Work closely with committee members and task forces to identify areas for thought leadership papers, reports, and articles.
  • Regularly interface with regulatory bodies, governments, universities, and industry stakeholders to develop FICCI inputs and recommendations.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with university leaders, multilateral and bilateral organizations, and other key stakeholders in higher education.
FICCI Higher Education Committee and Task Forces:
  • Conduct regular committee meetings under the guidance of committee leadership (develop agendas, prepare minutes, etc.).
  • Identify and create small groups of experts/task forces to address specific sectoral issues.
  • Work with task forces to develop papers and execute bespoke projects.
  • Task force work includes report writing, project implementation, surveys, research, events, webinars, masterclasses, program development, and mobilization of new members.
Higher Education Summit:
  • Organize and manage the annual global FICCI Higher Education Summit.
  • Work with committee leadership to design the conference program and identify national and international partners.
  • Manage masterclasses, workshops, focused closed-door interactions between industry and academic leaders, social media branding, effective execution, coordination with speakers, delegate mobilization, and post-show reports.
  • Generate revenue through sponsorship, delegate participation, and other means.
Projects:
  • Identify and execute projects in the industry-academia engagement space. Reconnect with FICCI's NKFH partners/initiate activities based on the NKFH framework.
  • Organize capacity-building programs for faculty and higher education leadership.
  • Engage with World Bank and other global agencies/joint projects.
  • Identify and explore opportunities for collaboration and growth.
Webinars, Workshops, Masterclasses, and Delegations:
  • Ideate and execute masterclasses, workshops, and webinars on important topics.
  • Engage committee leadership, senior government functionaries, and select webinars.
  • Develop partnerships and generate revenue.
Reports and Recommendations:
  • Closely monitor recent government announcements and policies and develop FICCI inputs and recommendations.
  • Work with knowledge partners to gather information through secondary research and develop the FICCI Knowledge Report, released annually during the Higher Education Summit.
  • Collaborate with key committee members and task forces to put together position papers and reports on identified areas.
FICCI Eduwrap:
  • Bi-monthly sectoral newsletter/outreach initiative targeting faculty, industry, students, and MSMEs.
  • Collate news items and articles for every edition.
  • Strive to generate revenue by identifying potential partners and advertisements published in eduwrap.
